Its two main mountain ranges, Cadí and El Moixeró, are linked by the Tancalaporta Pass and form an imposing mountain barrier between the Pre-Pyrenees and the Pyrenees themselves.
In this area is the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, a mountain park set between 800 m above sea level in the valley bottoms and 2,648 m at the Vulturó. This attractive park offers great biodiversity and extraordinarily beautiful settings.
