Prices in Barcelona can be considered lower than in other European cities, especially if we refer to a basic menu (which can range between €11 and €14) or a pint of beer (around €2-2.50), metro or bus (€2.40), tobacco (pack +/- €5.80), weekend cinema (€8.90). For discounts on your stay on tickets to museums, attractions, tours, shows, restaurants, etc., in addition to covering transport, you can purchase the official Barcelona Card (www.barcelonacard.com), also in a children’s version.
Tips
Tipping is not mandatory, nor is it included in restaurant bills. However, it is customary to tip the taxi driver, or the hotel bellman and in restaurants leave between 5 and 10%.
