Like the majority of works and installations on the Montjuïc mountain, the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium was inaugurated in 1929. The main installations for the 1992 Olympic Games are brought together here. The Palau Sant Jordi, designed by the architect Arata Isozaki and the 136-meter communications tower designed by Santiago Calatrava and that reminds us of the body of an athlete collecting the medal and that acts as a sundial over the square.
