47 meters high, these towers frame Av. de la Reina María Cristina and indicate the entrance to the Fairgrounds and the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC). They were built by the architect Ramon Reventós for the celebration of the International Exhibition that was held in Barcelona in 1929, the works began in 1927, imitating the bell tower of the Basilica of San Marcos.
