Parc de l’Espanya Industrial

It is located in the Sants-Montjuïc district next to the Barcelona-Sants railway station.

The park is located on the grounds of what was once the “La Espanya Industrial” textile factory, the country’s first cotton company founded by the Muntadas family. In 1969 the factory was moved and after several neighborhood claims, houses and the park were built, the works ended in 1986 and it has an area of 5 hectares where the 4 Elements of Nature; Water, Fire, Earth and Air are

the protagonists, among other sculptures found in the lake, there is an impressive Sant Jordi Dragon, the work of Andrés Nagel, in which children enjoy the slide that comes out of its mouth.

Its nine tall towers appear on the horizon, like watchful beacons and slopes of rows of steps that direct us towards the lake and invite us to sit down. At one end of the passage next to the sports center we will find a wide expanse of lawn with a small forest at the end.
