The Boquería market
It is one of Barcelona’s required tourist stops, especially because it is located right in the heart of the Ramblas, this is probably the most iconic of all the markets in Barcelona. It dates back to the year 1217, but the first stone of the current building was laid in 1840.

Santa Caterina market

Opened in 1848 and reopened in 2004, after being redesigned by architects Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue. Boasts one of the most iconic roofs in the city, made with colourful tiles. Located near the Cathedral of Barcelona, it is mainly devoted to food, and there you can find premium-quality special products.
