Work of Domènech i Montaner.
Built on existing construction, it was commissioned in 1902 by Francesca Morera i Ortiz.
The exterior façade is rich in sculptural elements and crowned by a pavilion, the interior shows us one of the best-preserved sets of arts applied to modernism. The hand of the prestigious artisans and artists that Domènech i Montaner chose to carry out this magnificent work of modernism is noteworthy, among other artists, the sculptures of Eusebi Arnau, the mosaics of Mario Maragliano, the hand of the decorator and cabinetmaker Gaspar Homar or Antoni Serra for many the great potter of modernism.
In 1988 a profound restoration was carried out by the architects Oscar Tusquets and Carles Bassó.
