Work of Puig i Cadafalch.
Built on an existing construction, it was commissioned by the chocolate industrialist Antoni Amatller.
It was built between 1898 and 1900
Four-story building plus a fifth where we find a huge attic. The facade is neo-Gothic style, we can see it on the ground floor, if we raise our heads we can see a long wrought iron balcony on the first floor.
The house depends on the Amatller Institute of Hispanic Art and was declared in 1976 a Historic-Artistic Monument of National Interest.

Curiosities “The goal”:
You will pass by, enter a bit and observe the goal, the decoration is all original from the time and especially the well-known “flower of Barcelona” floor tiles designed by Puig i Cadafalch for Casa Amatller and later used in numerous streets from Barcelona.
